The transfer window will reopen in the coming weeks and Roma have already opened up contact for potential reinforcements.
Calciomercato.com reports that the Giallorossi have opened talks with the entourage of Cagliari midfielder and Uruguay international Nahitan Nández.
Reportedly, Roma are eyeing the ex-Boca Juniors man as Paulo Fonseca is seeking immediate upgrades for Roma’s midfield, which struggled yesterday evening against Napoli.
Nández, who joined the Sardinian side in the summer of 2019, has made eight total appearances with one goal and one assist to his name this season. The 24 year-old has the ability to play a number of roles in the midfield and has even been used out wide this season by manager Eusebio Di Francesco.
