Roma are still in pursuit of Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches.

Sanches – along with Marcel Sabitzer and Nicolas Dominguez – is one of the primary candidates to reinforce Jose Mourinho’s midfield this season.

Despite whispers from France claiming the player does not intend to leave the French capital, Sky Sport reports that Roma made contact with PSG over recent days, assessing Sanches’ availability in this transfer window.

PSG confirmed that the player could leave. However, the French giants have also reaffirmed their stance on not wanting to let him leave on a temporary deal which for the time being is the only proposal Roma are willing to make.
