Roma are reportedly among the teams to be interested in Freiburg’s Roland Sallai.

The Hungarian international has drawn considerable interest from all over Europe and Saudi Arabia during his latest campaign in Bundesliga.

Sallai was in fact recently approached by Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq but ultimately turned down their proposal and decided to focus on European football instead.

However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have also made preliminary inquiries for Sallai and are keen on his development throughout this season.

Sallai’s versatility ranging from playing as a right winger to attacking midfielder make him a potential candidate to strengthen Roma’s roster next year.

His contract is set to expire in 2025 which could prompt Freiburg to let him go in a year from now.
