Roma are once again being linked with American midfielder Johnny Cardoso who plays for Brazilian club Internacional.
The 21-year-old, according to AS, is being monitored by several Italian clubs including Roma. The Giallorossi are keen on Cardoso, who has been a regular starter for Internacional for the past three years.
Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto has reportedly made a formal inquiry for Cardoso, who has dual citizenship and is rumored to be in talks with Spezia, although Bologna are also tracking him ahead of January.
Other clubs including Salernitana, Valencia and Real Betis have also come knocking on Internacional’s door.
