Roma remain engaged in several transfer market discussions as they look to reinforce José Mourinho’s roster.

It’s no secret the Giallorossi’s main priority for this summer is overhauling their midfield and offloading many of the players deemed surplus to requirements.

According to Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, a new name emerged as a potential candidate to join the capital club: Torino’s Sasa Lukić.

The 25 year-old is coming off his strongest season as a professional, tallying 5 goals and 4 assists in 35 league appearances—leading to interest from clubs in Italy and abroad.

Roma initiated contact with the Granata about the possibility of opening discussions for the versatile Serbian international. However, Toro president Urbano Cairo isn’t open to selling the player at the moment and wants to keep hold of him.
