Il Tempo journalist Adriano Serafini release a comprehensive update on the transfer market of Roma.

The Giallorossi have no given up on acquiring Real Madrid defender Nacho. The Spanish club blocked the sale of the player, however, in the coming days, Roma could attempt to relaunch an attack to try and bring the player to Rome. Madrid have assured Roma that if the player is put back on to the market, the Giallorossi will be given priority.

Meanwhile, the hunt continues for defensive reinforcements. At Trigoria, the will is to find a player who has the capability to play as a fullback and central defender. The demands of Manchester United for Matteo Darmian are far too high, making the player not a concrete possibility for Roma. Sabatini, though, could still do some shopping in England for a reinforcements. Some of the names being floated around are Janmaat of Newcastle, Lovren of Liverpool, Fazio of Spurs, and Okore of Aston Villa. One name that is a distinct possibility is Lazaar of Palermo.
