Roma have reportedly initiated talks with Stephan El Shaarawy’s entourage to extend the player’s stay in the capital.
According to the latest report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have already held their first meeting with the attacker’s agent.
The Italian newspaper claims that E Shaarawy himself took part in the meeting for a brief while, wanting to emphasise his intention of staying beyond this season.
With only a few months left on his current contract, El Shaarawy is hoping for an agreement to be found as soon as possible.
