Roma meet with Juve for Rugani: talks involving Celar, Riccardi plus €20-25m in cash

Roma are getting serious about acquiring Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that there was a meeting today in Milan between Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici and an intermediary appointed by the Bianconeri and Roma to carry out talks for Daniele Rugani. Within the negotiation, it’s possible that Roma could include an important youngster such as Alessio Riccardi or Žan Celar plus a cash balance of €20-25 million. It also remains to be seen if it will be a permanent sale or a loan with an obligation to buy. Furthermore, the Bianconeri are also pondering whether or not to include an option to repurchase or at least some means that could potentially keep them in line to reacquire the player. The parties are expected to meet again tomorrow.
