Roma meet with Zaniolo’s agent, discuss renewal details

Talks are ongoing between Roma and Zaniolo’s entourage over a contract renewal that will see the 23-year-old extend his time in the Italian capital until 2027.

General Manager Tiago Pinto will soon hold a key meeting with Claudio Vigorelli – the player’s agent – that will serve to further narrow the gap between demand and offer.

Whereas Zaniolo’s salary request is comparable to the wages earned by a top player, Roma are planning to propose a contract worth €3.5 million with add-ons, reports La Repubblica.

The two parties are expected to meet halfway and reach an agreement that will enable Zaniolo to continue playing for Roma for an additional five years.
