One of Roma’s objectives for the summer transfer window will be to find a new “vice-Dzeko”.
After Nikola Kalinić failed to live up to expectations this season, Giallorossi sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is keen on bringing in a name who can give captain Edin Dzeko a rest without a significant drop-off in quality.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that one of the options that Roma is considering is Talleres striker Nahuel Bustos.
The 21 year-old Argentine registered 9 goals and 4 assists in 20 league appearances for the 2019/2020 campaign with the Córdoba-based side. His performances have led to several Italian expressing their interest in his services.
Reportedly, Roma, Milan and Napoli are all interested in the player – however, the Giallorossi have the early lead because they have already initiated contact for the striker.
