One of the names that could become the headliner for the upcoming summer transfer window is Atalanta winger Lorenzo Bernasconi.

Born in 2003, the defender is taking the market by storm with an impressive season at Atalanta, becoming one of the most talented wingers in the Italian league.

Juventus, always keen to tap into these young talents, has him in their sights for next season, but his name has also been the subject of significant interest in the past. In January,

Gian Piero Gasperini explicitly put his name forward for Roma. The Giallorossi made a concrete offer: €15 million plus bonuses, but the Percassi family rejected the deal.

Now, in June, Roma could attempt a new attack, but much will depend on who will lead the Giallorossi club, given that the management situation is still up in the air.

However, Juventus could be in pole position to acquire the young talent, as demonstrated by the presence of a Juventus representative last night at the Coppa Italia semifinal against Lazio, where he had the opportunity to observe Bernasconi up close.

To snatch the player from Atalanta, the Bergamo club’s request is clear: as reported by Tuttosport, they need at least €25 million. The transfer battle for Bernasconi’s future is therefore destined to heat up in the coming months.
