Roma monitoring Newcastle’s Wijnaldum

Dutch outlet v-bal.nl has reported that Roma, Juventus, and Inter are closely monitoring Newcastle United’s Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Dutchman has been a stand-out in a season to forget for the English side, who are lingering in 19th place and at risk for relegation. Reportedly, Roma, Juve, and Inter are all interested in the player should Newcastle be relegated. Wijnaldum spoke to Metro XL regarding this possibility and stated, “Do I have a clause that rescinds my contract if we’re relegated? I don’t give out information regarding my contract. I’m not thinking about the end of the season, only the next match. The club is working hard to put everything in place and I’m certain everything will be OK.”
