Cengiz Ünder’s time at Roma is coming to a close while Napoli could be his next destination.
Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is expected to arrive in the capital this weekend to hold talks with the Giallorossi for the Turkish attacker.
Reportedly, Napoli have already reached an agreement to contractual terms with Ünder and his agent, Fali Ramadani — a deal which would see him earn €3 million (net) per season.
The Partenopei, though, have yet to come close to Roma’s €30 million asking price as they would prefer to insert a player, possibly Arkadiusz Milik, into the deal.
Meanwhile, Roma will also have to consider that Ünder’s former club, İstanbul Başakşehir, are entitled to nearly 20% of any fee earned from his sale.
