Roma are among the numerous teams to have shown interested in Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.
The Icelandic midfielder is having an impressive start to life in Serie with Alberto Gilardino’s side, scoring 5 goals in 12 appearances for the Grifoni.
In order ward off potential buyers in January already and increase his market value, Genoa have officialized Gudmundsson’s renewal until 2027.
According to calciomercato.it, this new deal will not prevent clubs from contacting the player ahead of next summer.
The news portal claims Roma and Napoli are the main clubs to have expressed interest in the 26-year-old. Others include West Ham United and Aston Villa.
