Roma are at work to secure an agreement with Nicolo Zaniolo for his long-awaited contract renewal until 2027. According to the latest report by Il Messaggero, the two parties are edging closer to a positive outcome.
The Italian newspaper claims that the Giallorossi and Zaniolo’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, are in close contact and will use the international break as an opportunity to finalize an agreement.
Zaniolo is expected to earn a salary bump that would place him among the top earners at the club including the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Tammy Abraham and Paulo Dybala.
The intention is to reach an agreement as soon as possible in order to further strengthen the capital club’s stance in the transfer window.
