Zeki Çelik is close to becoming a new Roma player in the coming weeks as the Giallorossi are nearing an agreement with Lille over the player’s price-tag.
Reports from France claim the meeting held today between the capital club and Lille helped narrow the gap between Roma’s offer and Lille’s demands.
According to Footmercato, the agreement is likely to be reached for a total fee of around €6.8 million.
In the meantime, Lille have already secured a replacement for the Turkish fullback in the form of Clermont’s Akim Zedadka.
