Despite the desire of Real Madrid and manager Zinedine Zidane to keep Borja Mayoral at the club, the Giallorossi are not giving up in their pursuit of the striker.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Spanish side would prefer offload Serbian attacker Luka Jović instead of Mayoral, who already has an agreement in place with Roma.

The operation for the player is now on standby, but the Giallorossi would like to reopen the negotiations with the Spanish giants for the 23 year-old, who has reiterated his desire to Real Madrid that he wants consistent play time, something he believes the Giallorossi can offer him.
