Roma’s winter transfer window is likely to end this way.

With just hours to go, the Giallorossi appear far from closing a deal for the highly sought-after right-footed left-back Gasperini has wanted since last summer.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Chelsea’s Tyrique George has been brought up again.

The Blues youngster had been linked with Roma last summer, but Gasperini rejected his move because he preferred more capable players.

Napoli are also interested in the player, reportedly considering the 2006 Englishman given the injury crisis affecting Castel Volturno.

The Roman club’s attacking lineup, therefore, could remain as it is today until the end of the season.

In the final days of the transfer window, they will try to sign a full-back: a relaunch is expected for Fiorentina’s Fortini after Fiorentina’s initial “No.”

Roma appears willing to raise their offer for the 2006-born player by another €2 million, effectively exceeding €10 million.
