Roma not in a hurry to address Mourinho’s contractual situation

Despite only six months remaining on his deal, Roma aren’t rushing to address Jose Mourinho’s contractual situation.

Despite the Special One’s declaration of love for the club and the colors in the aftermath of the latest defeat to Bologna, Roma President Dan Friedkin is not in a hurry to rediscuss the manager’s future.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma’s ownership wants to first assess the team’s progress in the upcoming weeks as they face the likes of Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta and Milan.

Afterwards, Roma will square off once more against Feyeneoord in February’s knockout round of the Europa League. The newspaper suggests that this will be the time that the Friedkins are likely to choose for any eventual discussions with Mourinho and his entourage.
