The Giallorossi have postponed all discussions related to players’ renewals. The club want to make their evaluations at the end of the season, reports Il Romanista.

The likes of Gianluca Mancini, Jordan Veretout, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nicolo Zaniolo are waiting to understand what their future may hold, after initial negotiations came to a halt.

Chris Smalling’s future also remains uncertain. The Englishman’s agent, James Featherstone, was recently at Trigoria and met with Tiago Pinto to assess the situation.

The club once again made it clear that they are in no hurry to extend the centre-back’s contract even though it is set to expire in 2023.

The Giallorossi want to evaluate the 32-year-old’s physical condition before the end of this campaign, and if necessary further evaluate any incoming offers.
