Roma are reportedly not prioritizing contractual discussions with Jose Mourinho and GM Tiago Pinto.
Both Mourinho and Pinto have only one year left on their respective contracts having both signed with the Giallorossi in 2021.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, relations between the ownership are excellent and Mourinho had already given his availability in the past to plan discussions for a new contract.
However, at the moment the club are said not to be in a hurry and are not prioritizing any contractual negotiations anytime soon for either Mourinho or Pinto who has helped Roma maintain its financial and competitive edge despite Financial Fair Play limitations.
There is mutual understanding that any discussions revolving around the future of the club’s management will only take place once Roma’s season fulfills most of its initial objectives.
