Calciomercato.com has reported that Roma has requested to Inter that a different player be inserted into the operation for Edin Dzeko. The deal between the clubs was originally going to include Edoardo Vergani. However, the Giallorossi appear to have rejected this option. Federico Pastorello, the agent of Vergani, tweeted that – despite rumors from earlier today – the player hasn’t rejected a move to Roma and stalled the operation. Reportedly, the Giallorossi are interested in Inter’s Sebastiano Esposito. An alternative could also be fullback Danilo D’Ambrosio.
Ritengo doveroso fare un intervento ufficiale riguardo al nostro assistito Edoardo #Vergani: smentisco categoricamente un suo presunto rifiuto nei confronti della #ASRoma.
