Roma offer Kolarov contract renewal

Despite having been linked with a potential move away earlier this summer, Roma want to prolong the stay of Aleksandar Kolarov at the club. Both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Messaggero have reported that the Serbian has become one of the “untouchables” in the Giallorossi dressing room, which has led to the club offering him a one-year contract renewal until 2021 with the option for an additional season (1 + 1). Kolarov’s current agreement expires in 2020, but Roma are eager to keep him at the club even though they spent a record fee on Leonardo Spinazzola.
