Roma are being linked with Spanish attacker Alvaro Morata of Atletico Madrid.

As the capital club continue to search for a replacement of Tammy Abraham, Alvaro Morata has emerged as the leading candidate for the job.

Due to Mauro Icardi’s elevated demands and wish to play in Champions League, Roma have veered towards Morata who is pushing to return to Italy.

According to Leggo, the Giallorossi have opened talks with Morata’s entourage.

The Spaniard is a close friend of Paulo Dybala’s and this could facilitate a deal as Morata’s contract with Atletico Madrid expires in 2024.
