Roma have reportedly put sights on a new full-back.

The Giallorossi, in fact, are said to have shifted their attention to Lorenz Assignon of Stade Rennais.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are serious in their pursuit of the 24-year-old right-back and have opened talks with Rennes to explore their options for his signing.

Last season, Assignon played in the Premier League on loan for Burnley.

The English club would like to buy him, but the player does not want to stay in the English Championship after Burnley’s relegation.

At the moment, Roma are said to be Assignon’s first choice.

Assignon concluded his spell with Burnley with 1 goal and 2 assists in 15 appearances.
