Roma are reportedly open to the idea of letting Houssem Aouar go in this transfer window.

The Algerian midfielder failed to impress the club.

After only one season in the Italian capital, Aouar is already being linked with an exit in the summer.

Among the possible transfers that would help boost Roma’s funds would be that of Houssem Aouar, who in his first season at Roma was not entirely convincing both under Jose Mourinho and, more recently, Daniele De Rossi.

The Algerian, who arrived on a free transfer last summer after concluding his spell at Olympique Lyon, has been in the squad since 1 July 2023, but has not found much space and, when called upon, has failed to make his mark.

Aouar played 25 matches between Serie A and Europa League, managing to score 4 goals.

According to Tuttisport, Roma could sell Aouar for an adequate and convenient fee.

Aouar’s exit would encourage the Giallorossi to sign a more functional alternative, better suited for Daniele De Rossi’s system.
