Roma optimistic about Dovbyk’s availability for Genoa clash

Artem Dovbyk is nursing a muscle injury that prevented him from taking part in Ukraine’s Nations League engagements.

The ex-Girona striker was forced to miss international duty after hurting his abductor muscle in the match against Juventus.

In recent days, Dovbyk returned to Trigoria where he continues his recovery.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s objective is to have him up and running for the first game after the international break.

There is optimism inside the club with regards to Dovbyk’s chances to recover in time for the match against Genoa on September 15.
