Roma are increasingly confident about the success of landing Leipzig defender Angelino.

The Spaniard is Roma’s priority as the necessary defensive reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s squad.

According to Il Tempo, Roma have already reached an agreement with the player and his entourage and working closely with Leipzig to get the deal done before the transfer deadline.

The newspaper suggests Roma are optimistic with regards to this operation as they feel there is enough time to secure at least one outgoing transfer beforehand which would guarantee Angelino’s arrival in the Italian capital.

In the meantime, the Giallorossi have bid farewell to Matias Vina who is undergoing his medical with Flamengo and are now considering the exit of Marash Kumbulla who could depart the club on loan.
