Roma optimistic about Mourinho’s stay

Despite having had his name linked with international managerial vacancies including Portugal and Brazil’s over recent weeks, Roma are reportedly optimistic regarding Jose Mourinho’s stay at least until the end of his contract in 2024.

According to Corriere dello Sport, with Dan Friedkin’s recent arrival in the Italian capital, the Roma owners are expected to meet with Mourinho and reaffirm their shared objectives and ambitions for his tenure.

The newspaper claims both Dan and Ryan Friedkin are continuously having friendly exchanges with Mourinho. Relations between both sides are excellent and the Texan owners want to continue working with the Special One.

At the end of the season, the two parties will meet and discuss their future, but there is optimism for Mourinho’s stay beyond this season.
