Roma are reportedly once again leading the race for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.
The Giallorossi have been monitoring the situation with regards to Inter’s negotiations with Sassuolo.
However, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have now turned their attention to the matter of Romelu Lukaku and extending his stay in Milan.
Thus, talks with Sassuolo for Frattesi have been left in the open by Inter, allowing Roma to continue the dialogue with Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali.
The Giallorossi could up their bid in the coming days as they feel €35 million could be enough to guarantee Frattesi’s signing.
