Nicolo Zaniolo is facing an uncertain future after pushing for a move away from the capital and subsequently failing to accept the only concrete offer for him from Bournemouth.
The player is currently considering staying after all, but the rapport between him and Roma is now broken and irreparable, claims Corriere dello Sport.
According to the Italian newspaper, Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin were personally involved in negotiations with Bournemouth over the last few days as the English side was recenty acquired by fellow Americans from Black Knight Football Club.
As a result, the Friedkins are willing to maintain a hard stance on the matter and have given Zaniolo an ultimatum to either accept Bournemouth’s proposal or risk not playing at all for the next six months, at least. The Italian newspaper reports that the Friedkins are not excluding the idea of sending Zaniolo to stands for the remainder of his contract, which is 18 months.
