The long-term future of Daniele De Rossi is yet to be addressed by Roma’s ownership.

However, the club’s impressions of De Rossi’s work since his appointment in January are extremely positive.

As reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, President Dan Friedkin and his son and club Vice-President, Ryan Friedkin, are very happy about how De Rossi was able to meet the moment and steer the team in the right direction following a difficult first half to the season.

The newspaper reports that De Rossi’s future is entirely in the Friedkins’ hands: along with CEO Lina Souloukou, they will make the decision whether to name De Rossi as the long-term head coach or not.

For now, the Friedkins are monitoring De Rossi and the team’s progress – however, the Roma legend is already said to be on the right path to becoming the club’s long-term boss for the future.
