Highly touted Roma youth prospect, Alessio Riccardi, is set to complete his loan move today to Serie B side Pescara.
The 19 year-old midfielder will fly to Pescara this evening before undergoing his medical tomorrow morning to finalise his loan deal to the Delfini for the upcoming campaign as the clubs are currently exchanging the documents to complete the deal reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Roman had been heavily linked throughout the summer to a potential move to Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli side — there were whispers that he could be added to the operation involving Partenopei striker Arkadiusz Milik.
Roma, though, always preferred to hang on to Riccardi, who is among their top prospects from the club’s Primavera side.
