Roma are reportedly trying to extend Gini Wijnaldum’s loan in the Italian capital from PSG.
The initial agreement between Roma and Paris Saint-Germain with regards to Wijnaldum’s buy option at the end of the season could be rediscussed in the coming weeks as the Giallorossi are more keen on extending the midfielder’s loan.
According to Corriere della Sera, Wijnaldum’s recent recovery from a fractured tibia and his slow return to the pitch have made it impossible for Roma to meet PSG’s demands.
As a result, the Italian side will ask PSG to renew Wijnaldum’s contract in order to facilitate an additional year on loan.
