Roma plan to swap Carles Pérez for Gonçalo Guedes in the summer

Valencia are reportedly among candidates willing to sign out-of-favor Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara.

The Giallorossi want to off-load the Guinean player before the January window comes to a close, and the Spanish side have emerged as the favored option in the last few hours, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

The Italian journalist further reports that this last minute deal between the two clubs could facilitate future operations, with Roma already coming forward with a plan for the future.

The capital club have reportedly advanced the idea of swapping Carles Pérez – who has drawn interest from several teams in Spain – for Portuguese international Gonçalo Guedes.

The 25-year-old winger has scored 8 goals and 5 assists in 22 league appearances so far this season.

The idea is for the swap to take place in June as the clubs intend to carry on talks over these next few months.
