Roma are still recovering from the shocking episode that took place in tonight’s match at the Dacia Arena with Udinese involving Evan Ndicka.
The Ivorian defender collapsed due to a suspected heart attack in the second half of the game. The match was suspended and the player carried off on a stretcher.
According to Sky Sport, Ndicka remains conscious and is now in the hospital in Udine and undergoing EKG tests.
The initial tests revealed a suspicion of a heart attack and potential body trauma after the player endured two heavy blows during the match.
Sky Sport reports that Daniele De Rossi, the players and staff are all headed to the hospital to visit Ndicka ahead of their return to the Italian capital.
