La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Roma are pondering Domenico Berardi and Lucas Torreira as possible reinforcements.
Reportedly, the Giallorossi are very interested in Berardi as his game fits perfectly into the ideas of Di Francesco. However, the problem is Sassuolo’s valuation of nearly €40 million for the player. Roma don’t want to pay such a high figure and one solution may be finding the right formula and possibly adding players to the operation. Meanwhile, Rachid Ghezzal, who is on a free after his contract with Lyon expired, could be the second option.
Lucas Torreira is one that Monchi really admires and views as a vice De Rossi. So much so that the sporting director tabled a €10 million bid for the player. Should the player arrive, it’s likely Paredes would depart.
