Roma could consider extending Gini Wijnaldum’s stay in the Italian capital.
The player – who has been injured for the most part of this season and has only recently resumed training with the rest of the team – is on loan from PSG until the end of this year’s campaign.
The Giallorossi, however, are reportedly engaged in talks with PSG to extend his loan.
According to Relevo, Roma want to convince Wijnaldum’s parent club to extend his contract until 2025 and thus extend his loan for an additional year, facilitating a possible permanent deal in the future.
The Dutch midfielder is expected to earn his first minutes of playing time in the coming weeks.
