The future of Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi is still in the balance following his loan spell at PSG.
The 30 year-old still has two years remaining on his deal with the Giallorossi after spending the previous eighteen months on loan.
Despite the Giallorossi’s preference of wanting to sell him permanently, Florenzi’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, has yet to present the club with any concrete transfer offer.
In the meantime, La Repubblica reports that one idea proposed by Roma manager José Mourinho is a swapping Florenzi for Inter’s Ivan Perisić. The Croatian earns similar wages to the Italian international, in addition to having a comparable market value.
As he awaits developments, Florenzi is expected to join up with the rest of the Roma squad in Portugal on 2 August.
