Roma ponder move for Odriozola

John Solano

Il Tempo (Biafora) – One of the positions Roma will focus on this summer is that of right back. The Giallorossi have had several names play in the role this season including Alessandro Florenzi, Leonardo Spinazzola, Davide Santon, Bruno Peres and Davide Zappacosta.

Roma will still evaluate Zappacosta in the final part of the season, however, there is a new name that has been offered to Roma and is one that’s appreciated by some within the club: Álvaro Odriozola, who’s currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard, who was born in 1995, joined Los Blancos from Real Sociedad for €30 million before joining Bayern in January.

The defender has accumulated just 70 minutes in Bavaria and is destined to return to Spain — but it won’t be for long. Real Madrid will welcome back  Achraf Hakimi from Borussia Dortmund, who plays in the same position.

Given his availability — Roma will certainly make an attempt for Odriozola this summer.
