Roma are evaluating Antonio Sanabria as an alternative to Marcos Leonardo.
The capital club are reportedly fed up with how Santos have handled negotiations for Leonardo.
Roma have grown increasingly frustrated with the situation and are now seeking other options on the market.
According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi have eyed Torino striker Antonio Sanabria who briefly played for the club between 2014 and 2016 (with a loan spell at Sporting Dijon in-between before moving on a permanent deal to Real Betis).
Last season Sanabria scored 12 goals and collected 4 assists in 33 appearances for the Granata.
There are no ongoing talks, but Roma seem to be keen on him in case negotiations for Marcos Leonardo were to collapse after all.
