Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger is no longer in the plans of manager Frank Lampard and is likely to leave the Blues in the coming weeks.
German outlet Kicker has reported that Roma and Barcelona are eyeing the German international as a potential reinforcement before the transfer window shuts on 5 October.
Rüdiger still has two years remaining on his deal with the English side and does not want to risk missing out on next summer’s Euro 2021.
Chelsea may be open to a loan deal as Rüdiger has also drawn the attention of another unnamed Premier League side.
Roma sold the defender in the summer of 2017 but are now considering bringing him back to the Italian capital after encountering problems in their negotiations with Manchester United for Chris Smalling.
