Roma remains vigilant in the transfer market, but is currently holding off on any deals.

The Giallorossi are focusing on contract renewals, having avoided the sale of a key player despite the settlement agreement situation.

The top name in Trigoria for next season is Mason Greenwood, but there are also other players Gian Piero Gasperini would appreciate.

One of these is Diego Moreira. A Strasbourg winger, he is currently playing at the World Cup with Belgium.

The 2004-born player has played just 57 minutes in the competition so far, against Senegal in the round of 32.

His talent, however, shone in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg, attracting the interest of several clubs.

Since arriving in France, Moreira has racked up countless appearances, becoming a key figure for coaches who have capitalized on his dribbling skills.

The Belgian stands out for his versatility: during his time at Strasbourg, he was deployed as an attacking winger, on both the right and left flanks, and as a full-back on the left flank.

As Filippo Biafora reported on Radio Mana Mana, the 2004-born player is highly regarded by Gasperini, and the Trigoria club continues to pursue him.

Strasbourg, as is well known, is aiming high: their asking price for the winger is €40 million. However, any discussions will be postponed until Rudi Garcia’s team’s World Cup campaign is over.
