Andy Mattioli

Roma are set to renew Mile Svilar’s contract as the goalkeeper has been recently linked with interest from the Premier League.

Following his unexpected ascent as a direct result of Daniele De Rossi’s managerial takeover, Svilar’s name found itself on the radar of numerous English clubs, informs Corriere della Sera.

The Serbian shot-stopper is now in talks to sign a new contract with Roma that will include higher wages.

The newspaper reports that Roma are finalizing their proposal: the starting point of the negotiation should be an extension until 2028 with added bonuses related to the player’s performances.
