Roma are working on securing a new contract for Edoardo Bove.
The midfielder emergence last season has put him at the center of various transfer links this summer.
As a result, the club want to bind him with a new contract in order to ward off any interested clubs.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma recently presented their first offer for Bove’s renewal.
However, the proposal – worth €500,000 per year – was rejected by the player’s agent.
Both club and Bove are optimistic that an agreement will be eventually found halfway between demand and offer.
