Roma are working to secure the loan signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Earlier today, Roma officials – namely General Manager Tiago Pinto and vice-president Ryan Friedkin – flew to London in order to meet with Chelsea representatives to discuss the conditions of a potential loan deal involving Lukaku.

Talks are ongoing with Roma increasingly confident of the deal’s feasibility.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma president Dan Friedkin is also personally involved in the negotiations from a distance.

In fact, the newspaper claims Friedkin personally reached out via video call to Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

The two discussed some preliminary details regarding Lukaku’s potential return to Italy.
