Roma President Dan Friedkin is interested in purchasing the Premier League club Everton.

Earlier today, English news media reported on Friedkin’s presumed interest in expanding his reign in the world of football.

The American chairman of AS Roma was identified as one of the people interested in acquiring Everton after the club was put up for sale.

This latest news was confirmed by Italian journalist Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport.

Mangiante adds that Friedkin submitted an offer to purchase Everton as the Friedkin Group he’s chairman of wishes to enter the stage of English football.

This, however, will not mean that Friedkin plans on stepping away from Roma.

According to Mangiante, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, the club’s vice-president, are intent on continuing their reign in the Italian capital.
