Roma pressing to close deal for Davide Frattesi before weekend

RomaPress – Roma’s transfer market is heating up with most of the impending activity surrounding their midfielder.

Roma executive Tiago Pinto spent the day in Milano, meeting with several clubs and agents hoping to get multiple deals over the finish line.

One of those meetings included a face to face with Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevale regarding the operation for midfielder Davide Frattesi.

The Giallorossi and the Neroverdi have been in discussions for the 22 year-old well over a month but they’re getting closer to reaching an agreement.

The capital club already have a contract agreement in place with Frattesi’s agent, Beppe Riso. In addition, they’re closing in on the sale of Gonzalo Villar to Monza—allowing them to accelerate and finalise the operation for Frattesi and finally bring him back to his boyhood club.
