Roma are finalizing the transfer of Primavera midfielder Giacomo Faticanti to Lecce.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Faticanti is closing in on a move to Lecce on a permanent deal from the capital club after handing in a transfer request earlier this summer.
Faced with limited playing time in Jose Mourinho’s team, Faticanti asked Roma to find him a club in Serie A where he could steadily develop throughout his first season as a first team player.
The Italian newspaper confirms that Roma and Lecce are edging closer to a total agreement. The two clubs are currently discussing the details pertaining to Faticanti’s sell-on clause in Roma’s favor.
