Roma Primavera and Italy U-19 midfielder Niccolo Pisilli spoke about his relationship with Mourinho and and the club’s first team.
Along with Riccardo Pagano, Pisilli is expected to be included in Roma’s first team rotations this season.
“I would say that for my position as a midfielder, Matic has been my mentor,” Pisilli told Corriere dello Sport. “His calmness under pressure is extraordinary and he’s been excellent with us kids.”
“Mourinho? He always come to watch the Primavera play. He is number one and it is a source of great pride to be observed by him. When you train under his gaze you are driven by a fearful inner strength and you feel invincible,” added Pisilli.
